ROCKSTAR's Easy Rider

ROCKSTAR’s Easy Rider graced us with his presence on Thanksgiving day in 2014. His dam was traveling from Prescott, AZ to our place in CA and went into labor shortly after boarding the transport. After an epic save by Matt Whitaker, Easy Rider was born and the rest, as they say, is history. He is a son of Levi’s 501 who never lost a fleece show he was entered in and who now resides at Little Creek Farm Alpacas having earned a spot on herdsire row there. His dam is no slouch either carrying the genetics of Eastwind’s Snowstorm, bringing in Peruvian Snowmaster, Snowmass Messiah, Hemingway, El Moustachio, and Presidio. Rider has grown to be a handsome young male with luscious soft fleece, is very fine and has very nice density as well. Aside from the obvious proven genetics he has, we are thrilled that he’s largely unrelated to our herd and we plan to use him when he’s ready to breed. He’s an easy keeper, is very easy to handle and likes to cush down next to our guardian female Sophie for afternoon siesta’s.

I’m happy to send fleece samples out to those interested. It’s going to be a little longer of a wait to see what this guy can produce, but I’m expecting it’ll be all good!
