| Every year we are anxiously awaiting the cria that our Traviata will bless us with and this year was no exception. | Lady G, as we call her, IS a chart-busting ROCKSTAR. In her first show this little girl took a 1st place ribbon in a huge white class of 14 and then a reserve color championship! In October of 2011 she went on to take 1st place/Color Championship - white female fleece and Judges Choice Fleece award at the 2011 Gold Country Gathering. We had long anticipated the birth of Lady Gaga's first cria, especially because we knew very early on that we'd promise her maiden breeding to Silver Rose Overture - a multi-champion Cochiti son we adored. So Lady Gaga goes into labor, pops out this little male who stood, and posed within 30 minutes of birth. ROCKSTAR's Zeppelin has been posing for the camera ever since, and we could not be happier with the outcome.
Zeppelin has beautiful conformation and scrumptious light fawn, zippery, crimpy fleece. He carries the density we would expect from his dam and sire, and blew us away with the fineness and length of staple he has. I love to watch him in the field, where he is most definitely a standout and it's funny that he rarely looks anything but perfect. He has a proud stance, level topline, gorgeous head, perfect bite, good leg set and a sweet personality.
We showed Zeppelin only at the Futurity in 2015 where he took 3rd place behind two Snowmass males. We were thrilled. We do have plans to show him this fall and into the spring show season. We believe this young male has a great future ahead of him - be on the lookout for this handsome rocker!
